At least 1 person injured in car crash on the Bayshore Freeway south of Woodside Rd in Redwood City

A police report by California Highway Patrol stated that on Tuesday, April 24th 2018, a traffic accident that involved several vehicles took place on the 101 Freeway, just south of Woodside Road in Redwood City injured at least one person.

Moreover, at about 7:20 p.m. the three vehicles involved in the accident were traveling northbound on US-101 when the collision occurred, according to officials.  Authorities described the vehicles involved as a silver Mazda 3, a silver Lexus and a dark blue Subaru.

Additionally, at least one person was injured, however the severity of the injuries sustained by the victim are unknown.  Officials have not released the age or name of the injured victim yet.

Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
