Paramedics respond to multi-vehicle collision

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Friday, April 20th 2018, at about 8:50 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving several vehicles on the eastbound of State Route 78 and Vista Village Drive in the city of Vista.

Initially, the report stated that a Nissan sedan and a BMW sedan were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision on the right shoulder. Secondly, a silver Honda Civic and a sedan not described by authorities collided and sent one vehicle off the roadway, according to authorities. Moreover, a grey sedan hit a light pole in a single-vehicle collision, as stated by CHP.

Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.

Furthermore, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Additionally, authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
