Paramedics respond to multi-vehicle collision

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Wednesday, April 18th 2018, at about 5:53 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving several vehicles on the westbound of State Route 24 and Alcalanes Road in the city of Lafayette.

In addition, the report stated that a 1998 blue Toyota Camry, grey Lexus IS300, white Ford Escape and an additional vehicle not described by officials were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision. Moreover, the Ford Escape had minimal rear-end damage and vehicle was unable to start, according to authorities. 

Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.

Furthermore, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Aditionally, authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
