Collision involving multiple vehicles on northbound I-805 Freeway leaves hazards on highway

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Saturday, April 21st 2018, at about 11:51 p.m., a multiple-vehicle collision involving four vehicles occurred on the northbound Interstate 805 near the State Route 94 Intersection in the city of San Diego, halting traffic.

Initial reports identified a grey Toyota Corolla and a dark gray Nissan Sentra as two of the four vehicles involved in the accident. The description of the other two vehicles was not available from the CHP report. The dark gray Nissan Sentra was travelling at high speeds of about 100 mph and possibly crossed over into another lane, said the report given by authorities.

The carpool lane was blocked by two vehicles as a result of the accident and authorities as they worked to clear the accident and wait for a tow truck for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.

Furthermore, it is unclear if there were any injuries as a result of the collision.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
