Two injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Golfcrest and Jackson Drive in San Diego
According to the news report from onscenevideo.tv, two people were injured in a car collision on Golfcrest and Jackson Drive in San Diego at 9:45 am, Thursday, April 5th, 2018.
Moreover, a San Diego Police Department sergeant was responding to a call of a man with a gun near Cowles Mountain when he was T-boned by an elderly female who was heading westbound on Golfcrest. In addition, the female driver veered to the right after the initial crash and hit two men in a truck, stated the officials.
Furthermore, a witness went to the officer’s aid and by using the Police radio, communicated with the authorities, mentioned the article. In addition, the officer and the female driver were transported to a local hospital for their injuries, stated the report.
Also, the man with the gun who the sergeant was pursuing, was never located, officials commented.
It is unknown at this time if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in this incident.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.
In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by medical personnel. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
