Vehicle collision left a motorcyclist injured on the 880 Freeway near Decoto Rd in Fremont

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Saturday, March 10th 2018, at 2:33 p.m. a motorcyclist was hospitalized as a result of a traffic accident that took place on Interstate 880 at the Decoto Road on-ramp in the city of Fremont.

Furthermore, authorities mentioned that a motorcycle and a grey BMW sedan were traveling southbound on I-880 just before the collision occurred.  The accident left the motorcycle disabled, as stated in the report.

In addition, the motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital by paramedics, however the condition of the rider is unknown.  Officials have not yet released any information on the injured victim at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
