Motorcyclist hospitalized ensuing vehicle collision on Highway 14 near Ward Rd in Acton

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Wednesday, March 28th 2018, at about 7:00 p.m. a motorcyclist was injured as a result of a traffic accident on State Route 14 near Ward Road in the city of Acton.

Furthermore, authorities mentioned that a motorcycle and a white pick-up truck were traveling northbound on SR-14 when the collision occurred.  Several lanes were blocked off due to the accident, as stated by officials.

In addition, the motorcyclist was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics, however the condition of the rider is unknown at this time.  Authorities have not yet released any additional information on injured victim.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
