Motorcyclist hospitalized ensuing vehicle collision on the 15 Freeway near the 56 Highway in San Diego
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, March 29th 2018, at about 1:50 p.m. a motorcyclist was injured as a result of a traffic collision that occurred on Interstate 15 near the 56 Highway in the city of San Diego.
Furthermore, authorities mentioned that a motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle while going northbound on I-15 right under the SR-56 overpass. The collision knocked down the rider and several vehicles pulled over to assist the injured motorcyclist, as stated by officials.
Additionally, the motorcyclist was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics, however the condition of the rider is unknown. Authorities have not yet released any additional information on injured victim.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash. Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
