Motorcyclist hospitalized ensuing car accident on the 10 Freeway west of Riverside Ave in Rialto

According to a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Saturday, March 10th 2018, at about 8:33 p.m. a motorcyclist was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Interstate 10, just west of Riverside Avenue in the city of Rialto.

Furthermore, authorities report that a PT Cruiser and a Motorcycle were traveling westbound on the 10 Freeway before the accident occurred.  The motorcyclist was found under the PT Cruiser when officials arrived, as mentioned by CHP.

In addition, the motorcyclist was immediately transported to a near by hospital by paramedics, however authorities have no word on the condition of the injured victim.  The name and age of the motorcyclist have not yet been released by officials.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
