Motorcyclist hospitalized ensuing vehicle collision on the 680 Freeway north of Sheridan Road in Sunol

As mentioned in a California Highway Patrol police report, on Tuesday, April 24th 2018, at about 3:57 p.m. a motorcyclist was injured as a result of a traffic accident that took place on Interstate 680, just north of Sheridan Road in the city of Sunol.

Moreover, authorities reported that a motorcyclist and a blue Honda sedan were traveling northbound on I-680 when the accident occurred.  The rider was found laying down on the N0. 1 lane of the freeway when officials arrived, according to CHP.

In addition, the motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital, however the condition of the injured rider is unknown at this time.  Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party.

Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
