Vehicles collision left motorcyclist hospitalized on Interstate 5 north of Via De San Ysidro in San Diego

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Tuesday, March 13th 2018, at about 5:38 p.m. a motorcyclist was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Interstate 5, just north of Via De San Ysidro in the city of San Diego.

Moreover, authorities mentioned that a BMW and a motorcycle were traveling southbound on the I-5 Freeway before the accident occurred.  The motorcycle rider was found laying on the slow lane of the interstate when officials arrived, as stated by CHP.

In addition, the motorcyclist was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics, however the condition of the rider is unknown.  Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victim at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
