Motorcycle rider crashed into a parked vehicle

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Sunday, April 1st 2018, at about 6:23 p.m. a motorcyclist was injured as a result of a solo motorcycle accident that took place on 6041 Rio Linda Boulevard in the city of Rio Linda.

Furthermore, authorities are not sure what caused the collision but rider crashed into a parked vehicle.  Moreover, the collision ejected the rider off the motorcycle and caused major head injury, as stated by CHP.

In addition, the motorcyclist was transported to Mercy San Juan Medical Center, however the severity of the injured rider are unknown.  Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured victim.

Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
