Rider is injured following collision with Jeep

According to a recent article from Bakersfieldnow, there was a major car accident involving a motorcycle and a jeep on Wednesday Nov. 29, causing major injuries.

The accident occurred at Roberts Lane and North Chester Avenue in the morning when the driver of a Jeep crashed into a motorcycle rider while trying to enter a local McDonald’s parking lot.

California Highway Patrol officers arrived at the scene, sources said.  The driver of the Jeep was cited for not having insurance, per the article.  The motorcycle rider suffered major injuries and required hospital treatment, although it was not stated where he was transferred to.

No identities were released in the report.

Currently, this crash remains under the investigation of the Pomona Police, and further details will be reported at a later time.
