Mother injured as a result of a car collision on Highway 4 near the Railroad Ave off-ramp in Pittsburg

According to a California Highway Patrol police report on Monday February 12th 2018, a traffic accident on Highway 4 near the Railroad Avenue off-ramp in Pittsburg left at least one person injured.

Furthermore, a Mazda and a Silver sedan were traveling east on the California Delta Highway before colliding with each other.  The report also states that the airbags in the Mazda were deployed and both vehicles were on the left side shoulder of the highway when officials arrived.

As mentioned in the report one female was taken to a local hospital to treat injuries sustained from the accident, however there is no word on the severity of the injuries or the condition of the injured victim at the time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  More Information will be released once officials have ended their investigation.
