Four people died in fatal crash in Bridgeport
According to a news report from ktvn-tv, a car crash occurred Friday, March 30th 2018, at about 5:00 p.m., on Highway 395 near Green Creek Road in Bridgeport, taking the lives of four victims.
In addition, the report stated a Subaru Impreza was driving northbound on US-395 when it crossed over double yellow lanes and hit the Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck head-on. The collision caused the Chevy and its fifth wheel trailer to overturn and catch on fire.
Furthermore, California Highway Patrol identified the two victims that were in the Chevy as Michael and Cheryl Dethlefsen of Fernley, however authorities have not yet released any information of the victims that were in the Subaru, as stated by the article.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by the report.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
