Motorcycle crashes with a commercial vehicle in fatal accident in Oxnard

As mentioned in a news article from VC Star, on Monday, April 2nd 2018, at about 12:37 p.m. a motorcyclist identified as 49-year-old Marvin Weeks of Thousand Oaks lost his life as a result of a vehicle collision near South Rose Avenue and Mountain View Avenue in the city of Oxnard.

Furthermore, the article reported that Weeks was riding a motorcycle south on Rose Avenue before he got hit by a flatbed truck that made a left turn onto Mountain View Avenue in front of him.

In addition, Weeks was ejected from the motorcycle and died on the scene, according to the article.

Moreover, it is still unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics and authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause of the collision, and further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
