57-year old man killed after car crash on Valley Parkway near Beven Drive in Escondido

According to 10news.com, a car crash occurred around 11:30 pm Friday April 6th, 2018 on Valley Parkway in Escondido killing one man.

Police around on the scene and identified the two vehicles involved in the car crash a a 1996 Toyota Tacoma and a 2005 Honda Accord.

A 57-year-old male truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene, stated the officials. The driver of the Honda was rushed to the hospital and was being treated for non-life threatening injuries, stated the report

Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.  It was not mentioned which vehicle initially caused the collision.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
