Hit-and-Run driver fled scene after sideswiping victim’s vehicle

According to various sources, there was a woman who was injured on Wednesday after being involved in a three-vehicle hit-and-run truck accident on the 10 Freeway in Colton.

The accident happened on the freeway near North Pepper Avenue at about 3:00 p.m. last Wednesday.

Sources stated that an Infiniti sedan was speeding and weaving through traffic lanes on the 10 Freeway before attempting to cut off the victim.

Madis Tolentino, driving a BMW, was sideswiped by the speeding Infiniti, and as a result, she lost control, crashing into a Mazda as well as a big rig’s tractor-trailer.  Tolentino’s vehicle then became lodged underneath the trailer.

The driver of the Infiniti fled the scene, as witnesses’ dash cams indicate.  The owner, Jose Rios, pulled over and rendered medical attention to the injured victim.

Additionally, California Highway Patrol is currently looking for the hit-and-run driver responsible for the car accident, and further news of this accident will be reported later.
