Major injuries reported in crash between Chevrolet Malibu and Dodge vehicle

According to the California Highway Patrol, major injuries were sustained after a two-vehicle car accident on Monday night in West Sacramento.

Per the report, the accident happened at about 10:09 p.m. on Monday, August 21st.

Two vehicles reportedly crashed into one another in the eastbound lanes of Highway 50, just east of Harbor Boulevard, sources reported.

Authorities arrived and located a Chevrolet Malibu and a small Dodge vehicle, as well as at least one injured party.

Paramedics responded to the scene shortly after, reportedly, and treated the injured parties.   One victim was stated to have broken his leg, sources said.  The extent of the injuries remained unclear, although it was stated that the injuries were classified as ‘major.’

Additionally, authorities reported that the Chevrolet Malibu sustained major front end damage.

Currently, DUI has been ruled out as a factor in the crash, but the authorities continue to collect evidence to determine the liable party responsible for this major car accident.
