One person injured involved in multi-vehicle accident on 680 freeway in San Jose
On Tuesday night, March 13th 2018, according to the log, at least one person was injured as a result of a multi-vehicle collision in the middle of the 680 freeway near Berryessa road in the city of San Jose.
According to the California Highway Patrol report, emergency respondents includes fire authorities were on their way to the scene and discovered a five car collision with a silver or grey sedan with smoke coming from the engine and was blocking the middle lanes of the interstate 680. Officials said that a big rig, a white sedan, a Nissan SUV and an unknown vehicle were involved in the collision and was stopped further north of the freeway. In addition, the Nissan SUV had some major damages including a broken front axel and was blocking numbers 3 and 4 lane north of the first blockage.
As mentioned by the report, paramedics were called onto the scene to help and assist the injured people who were involved in the accident that occurred Tuesday night. Authorities still hasn’t released any information regarding the people injured in the wreck.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
