Traffic collision in San Diego caused a traffic hazard on the road
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, April 12th 2018, at approximately 2:29 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles on the southbound of State Route 163 and Interstate 8 in the city of San Diego.
In addition, the report stated that a grey Hyundai sedan, blue Chevrolet pick-up truck and white Ford minivan were the vehicles involved in the car accident. Moreover, one vehicle appeared to have flipped out and landed back on its wheels, as stated by officials.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.
There was at least one person injured as a result of the crash and paramedics arrived shortly after the incident occurred to transport the injured parties to a nearby medical facility. In addition, the identity of the injured person or persons has not been released yet, according to officials. It is also unknown whether or not there were passengers in the vehicles involved in the crash.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
