At least one child hurt in car accident on 147th street in Gardena

According to the California Highway Patrol report, on Thursday, March 15th 2018, at about 7:31 am. At least one person was injured as a result of car accident that took place on 147th street near Chadron avenue in South Los Angeles.

Moreover, authorities reported that a Toyota Corolla and a Toyota Venza were traveling in 147th street in Gardena when both cars collided. Tow truck was called onto the scene to remove and assist with the crash, stated by the report.

Fire Department and an ambulance was called when a child was complaining of pain. In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victim at this time.
