One person injured in car collision on Highway 20

As mentioned on the CHP report, on Thursday, March 15th 2018, at about 5:16 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of car collision that took place on Highway 20 and Omega Road near Kingsvale.

According to the report, two cars collided on State Route 20 Thursday night near Kingsvale. The call was made from a callbox due to poor cellular signal, according to the log.  Additionally, the call was transferred to CAL FIRE and authorities were en route to the scene shortly after, as stated by the report.

Officials said that one person was injured due to the accident that occurred on Highway 20 and later on transported to a near by hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victim at this time.

Currently, this incident is undergoing review by officials as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the collision.  Further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
