Multiple ambulance vehicles transport injured parties after major accident
According to a recent article, there was an accident that occurred on Wednesday night in which several vehicles crashed, causing at least three people to be injured in Victorville.
As mentioned in the article, the accident happened at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Wendesday at the intersection of La Paz Drive and Roy Rogers Drive.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officers stated on scene that a black truck going northbound exited a freeway and ran a red light, crashing into a BMW going eastbound on La Paz.
After the initial collision, both vehicles then struck the side of an RV that was traveling west. As a result, San Bernardino County Fire responded to the multiple-vehicle accident, and rescue personnel airlifted two victims inside the truck to hospitals in critical condition after they were extricated from their crushed vehicle, the report mentions.
Furthermore, the driver in the BMW sedan was taken by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment as well, said the article.
No names were released pending the notification of next-of-kin.
Currently, drugs are being investigated in the crash as a possible factor by the San Bernardino County MAIT (Major Accident Investigation Team) who currently are leading an investigation into the cause of the major accident.
