83-year-old woman killed in pedestrian-vehicle collision on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu
According to a recent article from MyNewsLa, an 83-year-old woman was struck and killed in a car accident on Saturday morning on Pacific Coast Highway just west of Las Flores Canyon Road.
Per the article, the incident was reported at about 6:38 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Sheriffs from the Lost Hill/Malibu station responded to the scene and upon arrival, Sheikholialaavasani was pronounced dead at the scene, the article said. Firefighters and paramedics were also dispatched, although no one was transported to the hospital.
As a result, PCH was closed to eastbound traffic, and westbound traffic was shut down to only one lane at Las Flores Canyon Road.
Currently, there are no clues as to what caused the tragic pedestrian collision, although investigators are working to determine a conclusion to the case.
