Pedestrian struck by vehicle and died the next day in Oxnard

According to a news report from VC Star, on Thursday, March 29th 2018, at about 8:21 p.m., Jose Luis Gonzalez-Roldan, 41, of Oxnard was killed on the intersection of Cooper Road and Grant Avenue in the city of Oxnard.

In addition, the report stated that a pick-up truck driven by a 53-year-old man was traveling westbound on Cooper Road when it hit Jose Luis Gonzalez-Roldan, who was crossing the street on foot. 

Moreover, Jose Luis Gonzalez-Roldan was transported to Ventura County Medical Center by paramedics and pronounced dead the next day, as stated by authorities.

Furthermore, authorities stated that the driver of the pick-up truck remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
