At least one person was injured in car crash on the 605 Freeway near Firestone Blvd in Norwalk

As mentioned by California Highway Patrol in a police report, on Wednesday, February 21st 2018, at 9:22 p.m. a traffic accident left at least one person injured on Interstate 605 just south of Firestone Boulevard in the city of Norwalk.

Furthermore, officials reported that the collision occurred between three vehicles, a Red Nissan Frontier, a Silver Ford Focus, and a pick-up truck.  Authorities also mentioned that the Ford Focus landed in an embankment right off of the interstate and as a result of the accident.

In addition, at least one person was taken to a local hospital, however authorities do not have any word on the severity of the injuries sustained.

Currently this incident is undergoing review by officials as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the accident, and further information will be available once authorities conclude their investigation.
