Car accident left at least one person hospitalized on Highway 49 near Maidu Ave in Nevada City

As mentioned by California Highway Patrol in a police report, at 6:48 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic accident that took place on State Route 49 near Maidu Avenue in the city of Nevada City.

Moreover, officials report that a red Toyota and a blue Ford Mustang, were the vehicles involved in the collision that resulted in injuries on SR-49.  The accident caused both of the vehicles airbags to deploy, as reported by CHP.

Additionally, it is unclear how many people were injured, but at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics.  However, authorities have no word on the condition of the injured party at this time.
