At least one person injured in hit-and-run on Highway 905 near the 805 Freeway in San Diego

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Friday, February 16th 2018, at least one person was injured as a result of a hit-and-run collision that occurred on State Route 905 just east of the 805 Interstate in the city of San Diego.

Furthermore, officials report that a red Dodge pick-up truck was pushed off the roadway by a black truck, which fled the scene of the crash.  A witness in a black Volkswagen Passat also called in the hit-and-run incident after pulling over into the right side shoulder, as mentioned by CHP.

As a result of the collision at least one person was transported to a local hospital, however authorities have no word on the condition of the injured victim at the time.

Currently, this incident is undergoing review by officials as they work to find the liable party of the hit-and-run, and further details will be available once the investigation has been concluded.
