Drugs and alcohol determined to be primary factors in deadly motorcycle accident

As mentioned in the article, the accident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night when motorcyclist Frank Richards Jr. was killed after being struck by a 1995 Honda Odyssey.

Authorities mentioned that the driver of the Honda van was identified as 24-year-old Thalia Aldaz, who was driving with her passenger Jesus Ramos, 50.  Aldaz was reportedly traveling southbound on Union Avenue, approaching Adams Street, at an unknown speed.

Aldaz turned left and hit the raised curb of the center divider, moving the van into the direct path of the motorcyclist on Union Avenue.
