Wrong-way car accident leaves four people dead near Lake View Terrace

Four people were killed in a deadly wrong-way car accident on the 210 Freeway near Wheatland Avenue Exit on early Sunday morning near Lake View Terrace, according to a news article from KTLA.

As mentioned in the article, the accident occurred at approximately 1:50 a.m. when a Chatsworth man died in a car collision, along with three others inside a Toyota vehicle.

Authorities reported that a Chevy Impala had been driving the wrong direction in the eastbound lanes of the 210 Freeway before crashing head-on, killing the four adults from Baldwin Park.

According to the article, the driver of the Toyota in the car wreck was initially in critical condition before she later died at a nearby hospital, said CHP.

The names of the victims killed in the traffic collision were withheld from the report, pending the notification of next-of-kin.

Currently, this crash remains under the investigation by California Highway Patrol and further information will be released later.
