Car crash left 4 people injured on Sonoma Ave near Summerfield Rd in Santa Rosa

According to an article from the Press Democrat, on Tuesday, February 13th 2018, at about 6:48 p.m. four people were injured as a result of a head-on car collision that took place on Sonoma Avenue just west of Summerfield Road in the city of Santa Rosa.

Moreover, officials report that three people were traveling in a PT Cruiser and another person was in a Volkswagen Passat when the head-on collision occurred.  As mentioned by the Press Democrat,  everyone involved in the accident was trapped inside their vehicles until Santa Rosa fire crews extracted them from their vehicle.

In addition, all four people were taken to the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and their injuries ranged from minor to moderate, said officials.

Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
