Vehicle crash on Ramon Road and Thousand Palms Canyon Road in Thousand Palms injures four people

According to a local news article, on Thursday morning, April 19th, 2018, at about 7:14 am, a car collision occurred on the intersection of Ramon Road and Thousand Palms Canyon Road in Thousand Palms injuring four people.

In addition, the collision involved two cars and two bicyclists, stated the authorities. Furthermore, both drivers of the vehicles and the two bicyclists were taken to a local hospital to be treated with minor injuries, the report mentioned.

It is unknown at this time if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in this incident.

Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.

In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by medical personnel.  Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
