Two passengers riding in the trunk were thrown out following a traffic collision in Oxnard

According to a news report from VCStar, on Saturday, April 21st 2018, at about 5:45 p.m., at least five teenagers were injured ensuing a traffic collision on the westbound of Costa De Oro and Harbor Boulevard in the city of Oxnard.

In addition, the report stated that four passengers were occupying a silver Dodge Charger that was being driven by a 17-year-old boy where two of his passengers were in the trunk.

Moreover, a Nissan Sentra was traveling southbound on Harbor Boulevard as it hit the Charger that was traveling west on Costa De Oro, according to authorities. As a result of that collision, the Charger spun out and threw the two female teens out of the trunk, as stated by authorities.

Furthermore, five teenagers were transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Additionally, authorities have not yet released any information on the injured parties at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
