At least five people sustain injuries after car rolls over
According to a recent report from the California Highway Patrol, at least five people were injured after a vehicle rolled over and crashed on Sophia Parkway and Empire Ranch Road in Folsom last Saturday evening.
As reported, the accident occurred shortly before 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of Sophia Parkway and Empire Ranch Road, where a driver flipped over his vehicle and landed on its roof in a ditch embankment.
Sources stated that authorities responded shortly after the dispatch as well as paramedics and tow trucks.
Although the extent of the injuries was not made clear, paramedics arrived on scene to treat the injured patients. It is still unclear whether the patients required medical attention at a hospital, sources said.
No identities were released according to the authorities.
Currently, the California Highway Patrol will be investigating this crash and further details will be reported as they are discovered.
