A tow truck was called for after a motorcycle collided with a taxi on the San Diego Freeway in Culver City

Culver City Fire Department responded to a motorcycle accident in the HOV lane of the San Diego Freeway near the Marina Freeway on Monday at approximately 12:07 PM, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.

According to the report, a motorcycle collided with a taxi cab and was downed in the HOV lane until authorities moved the motorcycle to the right shoulder. A tow truck was called afterwards to transport the motorcycle.

At the time of the report, no injuries were logged. In addition, the identity of the motorcycle driver nor the taxi driver are revealed. It is currently unknown whether the taxi had any other occupants.

The investigation is still ongoing and further details will be released to the public as they become available.
