One dead after a motorcycle and a truck collide
According to the OCR, a collision between a motorcycle and a truck on Friday morning left one victim dead near Orange Avenue and Dyer Road.
Santa Ana Police received a report before 8 a.m. on Friday about a crash near Orange Avenue and Dyer Road. The motorcyclist collided with a truck and died at the scene, said Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.
Orange County Coroner’s department identified motorcyclist as Ivonne Felix-Perez of Corona.
Reportedly, officers were on scene Friday morning to figure out the reason for the crash. The driver of the truck that collided with the motorcycle was at the scene for the investigation to cooperate. Witnesses were met with officers at the crime scene to answer any questions authorities requested for the incident.
This collision remains under investigation and further details will be updated as they are available.
