El Cajon woman killed in motorcycle accident with a Ford sedan

According to recent news, Dulce Noriega of El Cajon was killed and her husband injured after their motorcycles were struck by a Ford sedan on Tuesday on Winter Gardens Boulevard near Creekford Drive.

Per the article, Dulce Espana Cota Noriega, 37, and her husband were riding their Yamaha motorcycles along Winter Gardens Boulevard when they were both struck by a 1998 Ford Taurus from behind at about 9:00 p.m.

As a result, both Noriega and her 32-year-old husband were ejected.  Noriega died at the scene, reported the article.

Furthermore, the 64-year-old man driving the sedan also suffered moderate injuries.  Both the driver and the surviving motorcyclist were taken to a hospital to be treated, said the CHP.

Currently, the traffic collision remains under investigation as authorities work to determine why the vehicle had drifted off the road and caused the crash.
