David Lent and Lynda Lent arrested in the suspicion of vehicle hit-and-run resulting in two seriously injured victims

According to the Press Democrat, on Tuesday evening, Corey Bauman and Nicolas Thompson were seriously injured when a vehicle struck them near Martin and Bevins Street in Lakeport. 

According to authorities, David Lent was suspected of crashing into the two cyclists, Corey Bauman, 41, of Lakeport, and Nicolas Thompson, 32, of Upper Lake, on Tuesday evening near Martin and Bevins Street in Lakeport. Both victims were airlifted to hospitals out of the area.

Lakeport Police tracked the vehicle down to the Lents’ home with the descriptions given to them by the witnesses. David Lent, 28,  was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and Lynda Lent was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to a crime.

Police state as of Wednesday, Corey Bauman was listed in critical condition and Thompson was in serious condition.
