Traffic accident left at least one person injured on the 5 Freeway near Mission Rd in Los Angeles

According to a report from California Highway Patrol, on Monday, February 26th 2018, at about 11:17 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of car collision on Interstate 5 near Mission Road in the city of Los Angeles.

Furthermore, officials stated that a grey Audi Q5 and a black Chevy sedan were traveling southbound on Interstate 5 before crashing into each other.  The black Chevy sedan received damage to the front end and blew out on of its left tires.

Additionally, at least one person with injuries from the collision was transported to a local hospital, however authorities have no word on the condition of the injured party.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
