Vehicle collision hospitalized at least 1 person on the 405 Freeway north of Highway 55 in Costa Mesa
A police report by California Highway Patrol stated that on Thursday, March 29th 2018, a traffic accident that took place on Interstate 405, just north of State Route 55 in the city of Costa Mesa left at least one person injured.
Moreover, at about 5:36 p.m. the two vehicles involved in the accident were traveling southbound on I-405 when the collision occurred, according to officials. Authorities did give a full description of the vehicles but did mention that a blue sedan and a grey sedan were the vehicles that were involved in the accident that resulted in injuries.
Additionally, at least one person was injured, however the severity of the injuries sustained by the victim are unknown. Officials have not released the age or name of the injured victim yet.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash. Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
