Vehicle collision hospitalized at least 1 person on the 15 Freeway south of Highway 138 in Phelan

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Monday, April 2nd 2018, at about 10:46 p.m. at least one person was injured a result of a traffic accident that took place on Interstate 15, just south of State Route 138 in the city of Phelan.

Moreover, authorities mentioned that a grey Toyota and a big rig were traveling southbound on I-15 when the truck accident occurred.  The Toyota ended up sideways in the slow lanes and required a tow, as stated by CHP.

In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this incident is undergoing review by officials as they work to determine the exact casuse and liable party of this collision.  Further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
