At least one injured in a car crash on East Florence Avenue and Compton Avenue in South Los Angeles

According to police report, at least one person was injured on Monday April 2nd, 2018 when a car crash occurred between East Florence Avenue and Compton Avenue in South Los Angeles approximately at 7:32 pm.

Additionally, authorities reported the incident involved one car and a pedestrian. The vehicle was identified as a black Honda Accord, the report stated.

Officials also mentioned that Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the incident and arrived on the scene few minutes after.

Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.

In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
