At least one injured in a car crash on State Route 91 near Gridley Road in Santa Fe Springs

According to the report, around 4:40 pm Sunday April 1st, 2018, multi-vehicle car crash occurred on the westbound 91 freeway near Gridley Road in Santa Fe Springs.

In addition, authorities report at least 3 vehicles were involved in the incident.

Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the incident minutes after it occurred, stated the report.

Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.

In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
