Vehicle overturned trapping passengers in traffic collision
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Sunday, April 15th 2018, at about 7:43 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles on the southbound of State Route 29 and Oak Knoll Avenue in the city of Napa.
In addition, the report stated that a white Land Rover, black pick-up truck and silver Honda Pilot were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision. Moreover, authorities stated that the Land Rover overturned and landed on its side on the right hand shoulder trapping at least two persons inside the vehicle. On the other hand, the black pick-up truck hit the center divider, according to authorities.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.
Furthermore, there was at least one person injured as a result of the crash and paramedics arrived shortly after the incident occurred to transport the injured parties to a nearby medical facility. In addition, the identity of the injured person or persons has not been released yet, according to officials. It is also unknown whether or not there were passengers in the vehicles involved in the crash.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
