At least one injured in a car collision on eastbound 12 freeway west of Stony Point Road in Santa Rosa

According to the report, authorities responded to a car collision on eastbound 12 just west of Stony Point Road at 11:12 PM Monday April 2nd, 2018 in Santa Rosa.

Police report states that a red Toyota Sienna hit a pedestrian. Additionally, the pedestrian was a white male adult wearing white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.

In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
