At least one person injured in multi-vehicle collision on the 101 Freeway near Melrose Ave in Los Angeles

As mentioned in a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Sunday, March 4th 2018, at about 3:58 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a car collision that involved several vehicle on Highway 101, just north of the Melorose Avenue off-ramp in the city of Los Angeles.

Furthermore, officials report that a Hyundai Sonata, a black Volvo sedan, and another two vehicles were all traveling southbound on Highway 101 before the collision occurred.  Several of the vehicles were left disabled and needed a tow, according to the police report.

In addition, at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital, however authorities have no word on the condition of the injured party at this time.

Currently, this incident is undergoing review by officials as they word to determine the exact cause and liable party of the incident.  Further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
