Vehicle collision hospitalized at least 1 person on the 84 Highway west of Newark Blvd in Newark
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Friday, March 30th 2018, at about 8:38 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of solo vehicle traffic collision that took place on State Route 84, just west of Newark Boulevard in the city of Newark.
Moreover, authorities did not give a description of the vehicle but did mention that it was driving recklessly swerving in and out of lane on SR-84 before losing control and crashing into bushes. There was a passenger outside of the vehicle and the driver was still inside the vehicle when officials arrived on scene, as stated by CHP.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured victim.
Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
