1 person injured in vehicle collision on the 580 Freeway east of Strobridge Ave in Castro Valley
As mentioned in a California Highway Patrol police report, on Tuesday, April 17th 2018, at about 3:54 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that occurred on Interstate 580, just east of Strobridge Avenue in the city of Castro Valley.
Furthermore, authorities reported that a Acura Integra went under a big rig before hitting the center divider while traveling westbound on I-580. The collision caused the vehicle to overturn and land on its wheels, according to officials.
In addition, one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics, however the condition of the injured victim is unknown at this time. Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party.
