At least 1 person injured in vehicle collision on the 101 Freeway south of Embarcadero Rd in Palo Alto

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, March 29th 2018, at about 4:39 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic accident that took place on the 101 Freeway, just south of Embarcadero Road in the city of Palo Alto.

Furthermore, authorities reported that a silver Toyota Camry, a red Ford Mustang, a grey Toyota Camry and a silver Honda Civic were traveling northbound on CA-101 when the collision occurred.  One person was complaining of pain to their abdomen due to the accident, as stated by officilas.

In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured victim.

Currently, this incident is undergoing review by authorities as they work to determine the exact cause of the accident.  Further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
